The same night as “Fastlane”, Shinsuke Nakamura officially signed a deal with WWE to be featured as an NXT talent. In a little over a month, he’ll be backing his debut against Sami Zayn at NXT Takeover: London only two days before Wrestlemania.
On Monday, it was revealed that Kota Ibushi will be leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling, which seems like a similar story for us to report on so far in 2016. In similar fashion, it seems as if the rumors have started about Ibushi potentially coming to WWE.
A new report from twnpnews.com is indicating that Nakamura’s transition to the WWE could be bringing Ibushi to the company soon.
WWE has lauched the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series for this summer and the “King of Strong Style” has recommended the “Hit Hard Prince” get in touch with the company if he wants to broaden his horizons oversees.
The following was posted on Twitter about the Ibushi rumor:

WWE has really embraced the former talents of NJPW to enhance their roster with some of the best talent there is to offer in this businesss. Kota Ibushi would fit right in if he were interested.
The potential matchups with Nakamura, AJ Styles, and others in WWE would certainely give him the exposure necessary to make the rest of the wrestling world say wow.
