Shane McMahon’s return to WWE has reignited the WWE Universe that wasn’t too happy with the way the company was building to Wrestlemania 32.
However, the reemergence of Shane O’Mac has changed the game for WWE going into the showcase of the immortals. But to truly change WWE, he’ll have to defeat The Deadman in a match he made famous at an event where he is twenty-two and one in his career.
Back in 2010, the WWE Universe was shocked when Shane left to pursue other business ventures. His sudden return to the company is being kept pretty hush-hush to preserve the aura and stipulations of the match between him and Undertaker.
The latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio claimed that Shane McMahon signed a new deal with WWE a few weeks ago.
The news was obviously kept quiet to ensure the return and keep what WWE was planning a secret. Even when the news “broke”, all the dirtsheets were able to pick up was that WWE had selected “someone” to be The Undertaker’s opponent at Wrestlemania.
Unfortunately, there isn’t much detail that is known about Shane’s new deal. The expectation is that he’ll be appearing on WWE television through Wrestlemania and after, but he could just be filling in through Wrestlemania and working full-time in Stamford.
He’s been very grateful on social media since returning and posted the following on Twitter:
