During the main event of last night’s Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns took a massive beating from Triple H to end the show.

According to WWE.com, the attack from the current WWE Champion onto his Wrestlemania challenger shattered his nose and today he needed to have surgery to repair it in Tampa, Florida. The following statement was made by the company today bout Roman’s surgery:

“Roman Reigns underwent surgery earlier today in Tampa, Fla., to repair a shattered nose, sustained at the hands of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H last night on Raw, WWE.com can confirm.

In a brawl after the night’s main event, The Game repeatedly slammed Reigns’ face into the announce desk, then Pedigreed The Big Dog onto the steel steps.

There is a lot of speculation about where the blood from Roman Reigns came from during the beatdown from The Game. Many are questioning if Reigns bladed or if there was some kind of blood capsule handed to him at some point during the attack.

It just so happens, Byron Saxton was caught on camera sliding something to Roman as he laid on the announce table. You can see the hand off below:
