Shane McMahon’s return to WWE last night has a lot of people talking. In wrestling, when people talk, rumors get started, and this is no exception.

The deal was made between Shane and Vince McMahon during Raw last night that if he can defeat The Undertaker in the Hell in a Cell at Wrestlemania, he can have control of Monday Night Raw.

What’s really interesting about that is it’s created the rumor that WWE may be on the verge of another brand split in WWE.

According to WrestlingNews.co, there is a some talk within WWE of bringing the brand extension back to the WWE after Wrestlemania 32.

The potential plan would be to repeat what happened in the 00’s with the WWE main roster being split in half and WWE being broken into the RAW brand and the Smackdown brand.

The reason Triple H isn’t involved with Shane McMahon angle isn’t only because he’s busy with the WWE Championship feud with Roman Reigns.

The expectations are that if Shane McMahon defeats The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, he’ll be in control of RAW while The Game would run Smackdown and allow that show to feature NXT performers on the show as Triple H sees fit.

Do you think a brand split would be good for WWE?
