The AP has revealed that celebrity William Shatner will be narrating the new “Breaking Ground” series that is ready to premiere this Sunday immediately after the “Hell in a Cell” PPV on WWE’s Facebook and Youtube channels. The series premiere will then air on the WWE Network after Raw next week.

The series will have ten episodes and will be telling the real stories of the people behind the curtain. “Breaking Ground” will be a show about the struggles to of wrestling for WWE. WWE’s Executive Producer Kevin Dunn had the following to say about the series:

“I wouldn’t say we’re pulling back the curtain at all. We’re telling real stories of these real people and the hardships and difficulty of making it to the WWE. I don’t think we’re giving it away. You’re just going to see how this process actually works.

It’s not about NXT. It’s about making it to the WWE.

I think new is always interesting on any level, especially when you have new stars on any TV show.”
