At Wrestlemania 32, Brie Bella had the final match of her WWE career. There could be more matches in the future, but Brie felt it was the right time to hang up the boots.

A great deal of that had to do with Daniel Bryan’s health and the desire to start a family. Sometimes, life forces you to make sacrifices that you’re not ready to make.

According to a report from RingSideNews.com, Brie retiring from WWE was one of those sacrifices. During an interview with AOL’s BUILD series in New York City, she revealed more details about Bryan’s retirement affecting her own.

You can watch the full interview right here. Below is what Brie had to sat about retiring earlier than she would have liked.

“It was hard as a wife to see that, especially because I had two months left at WWE and I was trying so hard to enjoy the ending. It was hard for me because of what he was going through and I didn’t really want to retire. It’s kind of bittersweet for me because we want to be parents, and I can’t take back bumps and have a baby bump, unfortunately.”
