For many months, one word has been synonymous with Paige: controversy. Ever since it was reported that the WWE superstar was suspended for 30 days for her first violation of the company’s wellness policy, she has been the subject of many stories, reports and rumors.

First, it was rumored that she had quit the company. However, she nullified this on her Instagram account, saying that she was still an employee of WWE. Yet, only a few days ago, it was rumored that she was going to be leaving for TNA once her contract expired.

Earlier today it was reported, based on a tweet that she sent out, that she was considering surgery to fix an injury that she has sustained in her neck:

However, if and when Paige finally makes her return to WWE, she will need someone to feud with. Who should that superstar be?

In my opinion, I think that the perfect feud for her would be with Bayley.

If you think about it, the contrast in their character styles would make it simple to set up a feud. Paige always claims that WWE is “her house,” yet Bayley has been one of the most popular stars in the company for a long time, dating back to her days in NXT. That admirability is continuing on the main roster, which could very easily be offensive to Paige. She could say that someone is coming in and trying to take over the very house that is hers.

In addition, it would be very easy for Paige to return as a heel and say that her suspension caused the fans to forget about and turn their backs on her. All while they cling on to every word that the current “Monday Night Raw” women say.

Paige works much better as a heel in my opinion. She can be the villain who despises all of the positive feelings that Bayley stands for, and can say that she isn’t here to give hugs; she’s here to win titles. And to do that, she has to put an end to the uplifting vibe that Bayley gives off.

Both Paige and Bayley have the potential to be huge stars for the company for many years to come. They have outstanding ring ability, are good on the mic, and could be top faces for the entire women’s roster. I have a feeling that the chemistry between the two both inside and outside of the ring would be something special.

And that is certainly best for business.
