After “Clash of Champions” and the rematch on Raw the next night, many within the WWE Universe are wondering why The New Day are still Raw Tag Team Champions.

Anderson and Gallows seemed like the perfect team to dethrone them after over a year holding the titles, but WWE has a very specific plan in mind for the title change. First, The New Day have to break a record most people thought would never be broken.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, The New Day are likely going to break Demolition’s record for a Tag Team title reign before losing the titles to another team.

Demolition’s record currently stands at four hundred and seventy eight days. The New Day will break that record before the end of the year if WWE sticks by their decision to let them hold onto the titles for that long, which makes their run even more amazing.

After that, there isn’t anything else for the trio to do as WWE Tag Team Champions, so it is very likely they’ll lose the tag team titles at the next WWE PPV, which would be “TLC.”
