Backstage News On Meeting Between Ryback and Vince McMahon Before Raw

The very recent contract dispute between Ryback and WWE has brought up a lot of issues about how wrestlers are paid and taken card of in this industry.

Everyone has an opinion on that subject, but the most immediate question is what issues are keeping Ryback from resigning with the company.

According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, there was a meeting between Ryback and Vince McMahon earlier in the day on Monday before Raw and the meeting led to The Big Guy’s departure from the road and he went home shortly after.

The biggest issue that came from the issue is the most obvious. Apparently, Ryback didn’t like the money that was being offered to him. The assumption is that the former Intercontinental Championship believes that his hard work and star status should result in higher pay than what was offered, to him on Monday.

Whatever the offer was, Ryback argued against it and Vince told him in so many words to go home if he didn’t like the offer and Ryback didn’t argue with that at all.

Ryback’s contract doesn’t expire until this summer at some point, but it looks like he’ll be waiting at home until the two parties can work out a contract that will bring him back to the ring, or his contract will expire naturally.

Obviously, there will be many more details to come as this story develops over the coming weeks or months.
