1. WWE Looks Bad
Simply put, the fact that WWE was willing to drop this angle proves that they never should have done it in the first place. WWE knew it was booking a real life couple against each other when they turned Lana face. The part that makes them look bad is that they didn’t stick to their guns when it’s really not related to WWE TV.
Are wrestlers not allowed to have personal lives? That’s not even the issue, but is every couple under the WWE umbrella supposed to transition their private lives onto WWE for the fans enjoyment? Rene Young and Dean Ambrose have been dating for awhile now. Why isn’t that on Raw? What about Cena and Nikki? Is WWE so desperate to change their low ratings that they’ll expose real life scenarios instead of thinking of something organic to do with their storylines? VinceV
