How much longer is Naomi going to have to wait for a legitimate chance at the Divas Championship? Naomi has had title matches before, but her job was to put over the other performer. In fact, when was the last time the focus was making Naomi look good? The last time was her heel turn, which she still hasn’t truly gotten off the ground.

It’s not her fault she’s likable. It’s not easy to get over as a heel, especially in the women’s division. She’s a better face, and the heel turn was a good idea to try to give her a change of character. It just didn’t give her the same boost that someone thought it would in the writer’s room. Naomi is exactly where she was a face, only now she gets a mixed reaction rather than a lukewarm crowd of cheers.

Queen of the Ring would be the step into the spotlight Naomi needs to become a true competitor in the division. She’s always been a good athlete, but that’s all for not unless you’re an incredible athlete or have a strong character. Naomi has the Queen of the Ring makes her a threat to anyone, which is what she needs to be able to do as a heel, or face. The moniker will help her career the most without question.
