The announcement was made several weeks ago that Shinsuke Nakamura would make his WWE debut at NXT Takeover: Dallas against Sami Zayn.

However, Nakamura wasn’t signed to an official contract because WWE wanted him to get into the WWE Performance Center and see if this was a one-time thing or if WWE would sign him to a much longer deal and bring him through NXT and eventually the main roster.

Clearly, WWE likes what they have seen from the “King of Strong Style” because the company has officially signed Shinsuke Nakamura to a WWE contract.

The announcement is now official here in the United States, and his hometown country of Japan has also had a press conference this morning on the other side of the globe.

WWE is more than aware of what they have just signed and NXT Takeover: Dallas is just the beginning for this superstar of two nations. The company has released the following statement about the signing of Shinsuke Nakamura:

“Talent is the lifeblood of our company, and the signing of Shinsuke Nakamura further demonstrates NXT’s commitment to bringing in the best talent from all over the world. His explosive style will make an immediate impact to an already dynamic NXT men’s division.”

What is your dream match that you’d like to see while during Nakamura’s time in WWE?
