WWE is missing Randy Orton. There are a lot of different ways he could be valuable to the product for Wrestlemania right now.

For example, WWE could have booked Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton for the IC title, or we could have seen him face AJ Styles in Dallas. That is going to be an amazing match someday. Unfortunately, it’s confirmed that Randy will be missing Wrestlemania this year.

Ever since his shoulder surgery, it’s been assumed that he would miss the event, but now it’s been confirmed by Ric Flair on his podcast.

On the latest episode, The Nature Boy discussed if The Apex Predator will be ready for this year’s Wrestlemania, but concluded that he won’t be ready. Flair went on to elaborate on the severity of Orton’s injury status.

You can read the full podcast right here. Below is what Flair revealed about Randy Orton:

“Randy’s shoulder surgery was a lot more serious than people understand. He even had it done by a different surgeon this time because he wanted to make sure that… If it pops out just pounding the mat…just imagine what would happen if he took a German from Brock Lesnar.”

It’s really unfortunate because there are many exciting things for The Viper to do at this year’s Wrestlemania, but he’ll most likely be ready for Summerslam.
