WWE Offers AJ Styles A Big Money Deal

This could be a very interesting week for wrestling. The “Royal Rumble” is on Sunday and there is still a lot of anticipation about whether or not AJ Styles will be making his WWE debut in the “Royal Rumble” match.

As far as we know, Styles has not officially signed a deal with the company. Yesterday, Styles acknowledged the potential rumors about him going to WWE and said the following:

“I don’t know what the future holds for me. If I’m not recovering from some weird arm-bar submission, and there’s a spot in the Royal Rumble…I don’t deserve a thing, I don’t deserve you (the fans), but you put me in that Rumble, and I’ll kick some ass for you guys.”

According to PWTorch, Ring of Honor had a six-figure deal on the table at one point, but WWE’s offer was described as a “blow-away offer.” ROH is doing what they can to keep their talents from signing big money deals with WWE and Styles is a talent they’d obviously like to keep, but sometimes they just can’t compete with the numbers.

This is not a confirmation that Styles is WWE bound this week, but WWE is throwing big time money at him. It seems like all the stars are aligning and we could see something special sooner rather than later.
