The first choice for most to induct Sting into the WWE Hall of Fame is Ric Flair.

Their history together and their friendship is pivotal to wrestling history. It seems like a no-brainer for WWE to select Flair to stand with Sting and give him his moment in the sun. The rumor is going around that it will be Flair that is chosen. Even Sting himself as said the following:

“I’ve been asked that question so many times over the years, ‘who would you want to [induct you into WWE Hall of Fame]?’ and I said, ‘Ric would have to be the one.’ I mean, that’s my first choice.” Sting added, “I don’t know what’s going to happen for sure, so we’ll just have to wait and see.”

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently spoke with Jim Varsallone of The Miami Herald and said that he would love to be the one to induct him. You can read the full interview right here. Below is what Flair said:

On inducting Sting in the WWE Hall of Fame:

“I would love to be that person… I haven’t been asked, but I would love to.”

Flair’s recent role on WWE television with WWE Divas Champion Charlotte has brought him back into the WWE spotlight. Hopefully, all the stars will align, and it’ll be confirmed that it will be Flair and Sting one more time in Dallas.
