Batista Defends His Career on Social Media

In 2014, Batista returned to WWE for six months after a four-year absence. He would win the “Royal Rumble” match, main event Wrestlemania with Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan and finish being a part of a great feud between Evolution vs. The Shield.

It was a great run and the WWE Universe didn’t turn against him because they don’t like Batista. He was the wrong guy pushed at the wrong time, and it’s caused the WWE Universe to sour to him even today.

Batista was recently on Twitter interacting with his fans and one asked him if he were to play a role in “Titanic”, what role would he choose? Batista jokingly replied, “The Ship”:

Trying to imagine Dave Batista in a drama like that is funny, hence the comment, but other fans responded with the following:

For some reason, Batista felt the need to respond despite getting this kind of tweets targeted at him often. He responded with the following:

WWE fans can and will say a lot of things based on personal preference, but it’s hard to ignore Batista’s accomplishments in wrestling. Now, he’s gone on to have a successful career in Hollywood. Someday he’ll be back in WWE, but some of us hope he’ll be treated better.
