It’s like pay per view week. There are a lot of titles in WWE and that means you are going to see a lot of title matches taking place on a pretty frequent basis. That is the kind of thing that can make for a bigger audience in a hurry. Sometimes these title matches are bigger than others, but every now and then a card is so stacked with title matches that you can’t look away. That will be the case next week.

With three major weekly television shows, WWE has a lot of time to be covered in any given week. Between Monday Night Raw, NXT and SmackDown, there are all kinds of ways to fill in that time. That can vary week to week, but every now and then, WWE likes to do something similar on more than one of their shows. That will certainly be true next week in a major way.

During this week’s SmackDown, it was announced that Drew Gulak will challenge AJ Styles for the Intercontinental Title on next week’s show. This makes the sixth title match scheduled for next week’s slate of television shows. There will be four title matches on Monday Night Raw, including R-Truth defending the 24/7 Title against Akira Tozawa, the Street Profits defending the Raw Tag Team Titles against the Viking Raiders, Bayley and Sasha Banks defending the Women’s Tag Team Titles against the IIconics and Charlotte will challenge Asuka for the Raw Women’s Title.

On NXT, Keith Lee will defend the North American Title against Finn Balor and Johnny Gargano, with the winner moving on to face NXT Champion Adam Cole on the July 8 NXT in a title for title match. There is no word on why WWE is holding so many title matches in one week. The last time WWE presented this many title matches in a single night was at Clash Of Champions on September 15, 2019.

Monday alone is going to be a big deal. Check out the setup for the four title match card:

Opinion: It’s almost like WWE is trying to set things up in a big way. With the changes in the creative department on Monday Night Raw, it might be WWE’s method of changing things up in a big way. There are so many title matches taking place that you are almost guaranteed to see at least one title change during the week. That’s a good way to draw in some interest but you never know how it will wind up going int his company.
