No more? WWE is a major wrestling promotion but what matters most is that they produce a lot of content. The company is known for presenting more content than they know what to do with on several shows across a variety of platforms. Spreading things out like this means that WWE makes quite a bit of money, but now things might be changing a bit with one such area.
According to Fightful Select, WWE content on Hulu, including Monday Night Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and various other shows are all listed as expiring before the end of the month. This usually means that the content is set to be removed from the service, which coincides with WWE’s deal with Hulu being set to expire at some point this year. There has been speculation that the WWE content will be moving to Peacock, but this has not been confirmed anywhere.
Opinion: Assuming the rest of the content goes over to Peacock, it would be nice to have everything in one place rather than spread over Hulu and Peacock for a change. Hulu is one of those other services that is often forgotten, as WWE promotes Peacock as often as they can. WWE has worked with Hulu for a rather long time, but it would make sense to make the change over if that is an option.
What do you think of the possible change? Where should the content air? Let us know in the comments below.
