Former WWE Star Hospitalized After Fire Ant Attack (This Looks Horrible)

That could have been worse. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling, many of which take place in the ring. At the same time, there are several that take place as part of a complete fluke, some of which have nothing to do with wrestling. You will occasionally hear stories of a bizarre medical situation and that is the case again with a former WWE personality who had a bad day.

Former WWE star Eva Marie posted to social media that she was hospitalized due to an allergic reaction to being bitten by fire ants. The situation resulted in her entering anaphylactic shock with welts on her face, arms, neck and leg. In a comment on TikTok, she mentioned that this took place over Labor Day weekend and everything is now fine. Eva Marie was released from WWE in November 2021.

Opinion: Well that could have been a lot worse and thankfully Eva Marie was able to get to get the medical help that she needed. This is something you don’t mess around with and she seems to be ok now. How often do you hear of someone getting sent to the hospital due to an attack by fire ants? That is one for the books, even if Eva Marie isn’t part of WWE any longer.
