Did WWE Just Plant The Seeds For A Huge Match?

There’s always time for a WrestleMania rematch. One of the major draws of this week’s SmackDown 1000 was the return of a variety of names. With all of the major SmackDown Live making sense, there was a set of names who didn’t make a lot of sense. Evolution was announced for the show, despite never appearing there before. It was rather odd, but now we might know why it went down.

There is tension in the air.

On this week’s SmackDown 1000, Evolution came out to the ring to speak, with Batista doing most of the talking. Batista talked about each of the team’s members with Triple H being brought up last. After praising Triple H, Batista brought up the fact that Triple H had never actually beaten him. Triple H stared at him after the speech was over but nothing physical happened. Batista defeated Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 21 and then again in two ensuing rematches with Triple H never defeating him.

Opinion: I could certainly go for the match again, though you can almost guarantee another Triple H win at WrestleMania. There’s no reason for that to be the case, though it wouldn’t surprise me to see Batista wanting to go out putting someone over. Batista is one of the few names that Triple H has put over several times in his career and while there’s a story there, I could go for having it stay that way.
