Sometimes you need to go somewhere else. If there is one thing that WWE can boast about, it is having an incredibly deep talent roster. When you have that many resources available to you, there are a lot of reasons for wrestlers to want to come to your company. With so much talent around, WWE has a great reason to want to scout around for talent. This time around, they are trying something new.

WWE is the most international wrestling promotion in the world, running shows all over the globe in various countries year after year. They also have NXT UK and seem interested in expanding the NXT brand into other companies. As a result, there are a variety of places where WWE can shop around for talent. That is what they will be doing soon, in a rather unique place.

According to Foxsports.com, WWE will be holding its first ever tryouts in Johannesburg, South Africa from April 29 – May 2, marking the company’s first every tryout in the country. At the same time, WWE will be running a tour of the country with four shows in as many days. WWE has featured a South African wrestler on its roster before, as Justin Gabriel wrestled for the company from from 2008 – 2015.

The company has been to South Africa before. Check out some of their trips there before:

Opinion: This is one of those things that WWE has to do every now and then and that’s a good thing. If you only look over the same talent pools time after time, you are never going to see what else is out there. Maybe you find a hidden talent somewhere, and even if you don’t it might give you an idea of what to look for elsewhere. WWE has found surprises elsewhere before so maybe they can do it again here.

What kind of wrestlers do WWE need? Who should be signed to the company? Let us know in the comments below.
