That’s not where we’re going. We are less than four weeks away from WrestleMania 36 and a lot of the show has already been put together. The show has come together rather well so far and even though there are some things that have not been set in stone just yet, meaning they could still be changed. One possible change will not be taking place though, even if it may have been hinted at.

Over the last week and a half, a major match that seems to have been all but officially announced is Undertaker vs. AJ Styles. The two have attacked each other both verbally and physically with Styles officially making the challenge on this week’s Monday Night Raw. Styles suggested that he wanted to bury the Undertaker, which has caused a rumor to pop up, only to be shot back down.

According to Wrestling Observer Live, Undertaker and Styles’ match at WrestleMania will not be a casket match, despite rumors suggesting that the match could be announced as one. The speculation came from Styles’ promo on Monday Night Raw where he talked about driving a nail into the Undertaker’s casket. The match has not been officially announced, but the contract signing is set for next week’s Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: This could have been a logical move but at the same time, there is something strange about having a gimmick match as the first match between the two of them. It would feel more appropriate to have a regular singles match and then maybe they can move on to a casket match, should the feud continue. I know it’s Undertaker’s signature match, but starting with a regular match sounds like a better idea.
