You have to start somewhere. Celebrities have a mixed history in wrestling. There are times where you are going to see someone shock the wrestling world and pull off something great but on the other hand there are going to be some that do not go well. The amount of effort they put in coming into the match helps a lot and now we know where one celebrity is getting his start.
WWE has been on a celebrity kick as of late and that can be a rather hit and miss prospect. There are only so many things that can be done to get a non-wrestler ready for the ring with just a lot of training, making the right trainer about as important as you can get. If a celebrity gets the right kind of training, it might work out well in the end. Hopefully that is the case this time around.
Rapper Bow Wow has announced that he is training with Rikishi in California to get ready for a run with WWE. Bow Wow has mentioned that he wants to get involved with WWE once his next album is completed. In addition, he called out Damien Priest and Bad Bunny, saying that he is the REAL Mr. Bunny. There is no specific date for when Bow Wow could begin appearing or wrestling for WWE.
I have officially decided to train with my boy @TheREALRIKISHI at his gym in California to get ready for the @wwe . LOCKED IN

Opinion: I’m never sure about celebrities getting into wrestling, but Bunny has done some good things for WWE so far so maybe Bow Wow can do the same. You never can tell how something is going to go in the ring though and that’s one of the scary things about this. At the same time, I can understand the idea of the roster not being happy with the whole thing as this is another spot on a big show going to someone else.
