He’s a big one. We are in a unique point in wrestling as the sport is more international than it ever has been. Wrestlers are now working around the world with several stars being able to perform in front of more fans than ever before. This has included all kinds of wrestlers from different countries and that list is about to grow, with one of the best wrestlers of all time coming stateside.

While it might not be everyone’s taste, there is something incredible about New Japan Pro Wrestling. Their wrestlers are among the most talented in the world and you are getting to see some of those stars coming to America as the promotion expands internationally. There has also been some stars coming over from AEW and now that might be going in the opposite direction.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, former IWGP World Champion Kazuchuka Okada will be wrestling in America, either for Impact Wrestling or AEW. There is no word on when Okada will appear as the Coronavirus pandemic is slowing the situation down. Okada wrestled for Impact Wrestling in 2011 as the masked Okato, a superhero character. He also has a long history with AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in New Japan. More top New Japan stars, possibly including current IWGP World Champion Kota Ibushi will be coming as well.

Opinion: Well if they have to. Okada is one of the most polished in-ring performers of all time and it could be amazing to see him getting involved with either promotion. If nothing else, it would be nice to see Okada getting to actually work in Impact Wrestling rather than doing the Okato stuff that felt like such a waste before. Things have changed quite a bit since, and I can’t imagine Impact messing something up again.
