Welcome back? The big story of this week has been the announcement of the upcoming all women’s Evolution pay per view, coming up on October 28. One of the big attractions for that show is the inclusion of more than fifty names on the show, albeit in unknown capacities. With the names WWE has in its history, you never know who might be showing up, but we do know who the fans want to see.
WWE.com has posted a new poll, asking who the fans want to see return to the ring at Evolution. While there is no guarantee that any of these people are going to be there or are even interested in making an appearance, there is one name that has run away with the lead. Out of twelve options, AJ Lee is leading with 62% of the vote, leading Beth Phoenix at 7%. Here are the current numbers, as of 12:45am EST on July 27:
AJ Lee – 62%
Beth Phoenix – 7%
Stacy Keibler – 6%
Kelly Kelly – 5%
Molly Holly – 4%
Michelle McCool – 4%
Layla – 3%
Torrie Wilson – 3%
Alundra Blayze – 3%
Eve Torres – 2%
Summer Rae – 2%
Jacqueline – 1%
A lot of people have a lot to say about the show.
Opinion: I know it’s a big deal but I can’t imagine Lee actually coming back to WWE. That being said, I can’t imagine several of these women coming back to WWE. I’m sure a few of them would as they were already back for January’s Women’s Royal Rumble. It would be nice to have Lee back as she’s only 31 years old and could be back full time without much of an issue if she wanted. It’s always fun to talk about these kind of things, even if some of them just aren’t happening.
