New Japan Star Gets Into Twitter Argument With Roman Reigns

I fight you, you fight me. Roman Reigns is easily one of the most polarizing wrestlers in the world. Whether it’s about his wrestling abilities or his talking abilities, almost every wrestling fan has some kind of an opinion on him. It’s easy to understand given the place that he’s in, especially in WWE alone. As it turns out, a fairly big name star has a take on him and it wasn’t the nicest in the world.

Yesterday, New Japan star Tama Tonga took to Twitter to talk about how someone got him sent to Twitter jail. Tonga targeted Reigns, and the two got into a lengthy Twitter exchange, arguing about Reigns being a top star and Reigns coming back by saying that he doubled the views on the video in Tonga’s initial tweet in just four hours. Opinion: I’ll give Reigns credit for being able to fight back on something like this. It says something about his ability to talk for himself, which is what the whole argument with Tonga seems to be about in the first place. Reigns is an entertaining guy but he’s stuck in the world of scripted promos, which doesn’t exactly help the reputation that he already has. Let him do something like this and see how much more over he can get.
