You can almost picture it. There are a lot of stories that fans remember from their time watching WWE. Some of these stories are a lot better than others but fans remember them for one reason or another. Hopefully the good stories are the ones people remember more, but that is rarely the case. Instead, fans tend to focus on the other the top stories, which would have been the case had something made air.
Back in 2007, WWE began running one of their more memorable storylines as Vince McMahon was revealed to have another child. After months of trying to figure out who the child was, it was revealed the Hornswoggle of all people was McMahon’s son. This sent McMahon over the edge as he was embarrassed by Hornswoggle, and it turns out that things almost got a lot more serious.
Former WWE writer Brian Gerwitz has tweeted out a photo of a storyline proposal related to the Hornswoggle storyline. The idea would have seen McMahon stuff Hornswoggle inside of a pillowcase and then throw him over a bridge, killing off the Hornswoggle character in the process. Gerwitz said that he did not know whose idea it was, but thought it was something that would never happen on television.
Nowadays evenings are reserved for finally cleaning out closet. I don’t know which writer came up with this nearly 13 years ago and I can pretty much guarantee it didn’t make it to Vince but you got to admire someone who swings for the fences. pic.twitter.com/sDyoDL5SPk

You don’t get that kind of a story very often. Check out how the angle got started:

Opinion: What in the world are you supposed to say about something like this? I really don’t think it’s a good idea to go for murder on a wrestling show and thankfully that wasn’t the way they went. The story was a rather fun one while it lasted and McMahon losing his mind over Hornswoggle being around was entertaining. It wasn’t meant to be anything serious and this would have taken it in a completely different, and not great, direction.
