Dusting off the classics. In the world of American sports, there is nothing bigger than the Super Bowl. It’s the biggest game of the year in the biggest sport and draws by far the biggest television audience. With so many people out there watching, it makes a lot of sense to have something else on to try and steal some of the viewers who might not be so interested. Enter WWE.
As announced at the Royal Rumble, WWE will be bringing back its Halftime Heat concept with a match airing during halftime of the Super Bowl. This year will see Aleister Black/Velveteen Dream/Ricochet vs. Johnny Gargano/Tommaso Ciampa/Adam Cole in a six man tag. The match was set up during a backstage brawl after Saturday’s Takeover: Phoenix event.

Opinion: Works for me. WWE knows how to set up these NXT matches very well and I could go for something other than a music act. You know the match isn’t going to go very long and it’s going to be nice to have an alternative to watch. The fact that it’s going to be a heck of a match helps too and it’s cool to see WWE doing something a little different for a change.
Will you be watching the match? Where do these six go from here? Let us know in the comments below.
