Royal Rumble Axxess is in full swing this year, with WWE hosting the first-ever Worlds Collide Tournament. The tournament, which features a number of Superstars from NXT, NXT UK and 205 Live has kicked off.

The tournament features 5 Superstars from each of the three matches. The actual show, which will air on the WWE Network on February 2 will also feature other competitors from the brands.

Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Dominik Dijakovic, Keith Lee, and Shane Thorne represent NXT.

Mark Andrews, Tyler Bate, Travis Banks, Jordan Devlin, and Zack Gibson represent NXT UK.

Cedric Alexander, Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, TJP, and Humberto Carrillo represent 205 Live.

The tournament places random competitors from the various divisions up against one another. Here are the results so far:

First Round Results

Devlin won a battle royale to secure his place in the semifinals.

Gulak defeated Andrews.

Dijakovic defeated TJP.

Lee defeated Banks.

Carrillo defeated Gibson.

Dream defeated Nese.

Cole defeated Thorne.

Bate defeated Alexander.

Second Round Results

Devlin defeated Gulak.

Dream defeated Carrillo.

Velveteen Dream eyes the NXT Championship as the Worlds Collide Tournament approaches

Other Matches

Flash Morgan Webster defeated James Drake.

WALTER defeated Danny Burch.

Pete Dunne defeated Wolfgang.

NXT UK Women’s Championship: Toni Storm (c) defeated Rhea Ripley.

What Comes Next?

Tomorrow will be the final day of the tournament. Dijakovic will battle Lee, as Cole takes on Bate. The winners of those matches will take on Devlin and Carrillo in the semifinals.

It is also likely that WWE has another title defense tomorrow. Given that Drake and Gibson are there, it is possible they defend their NXT UK Tag Team Championship against another team from the tournament or available pool of Superstars.

We will have the results from the remainder of the tournament up tomorrow.

Editor’s Note:

I love this idea. I’m super excited to physically watch the Worlds Collide tournament as soon as it airs.

Who is your prediction? Would you like to see a title defense on the show?
