Share the wealth. Earlier this summer, WWE surprised some fans by having their stars appear at the Evolve Tenth Anniversary show, which also aired live on the WWE Network. The move allowed a lot of people to see Evolve for the first time and also helped boost up WWE a bit. The move showed that WWE was willing to work with smaller promotions and now they are doing so again.
As announced on WWE.com, NXT stars Matt Riddle and Keith Lee will be appearing at the upcoming Progress Wrestling event on September 15. The duo will be facing NXT UK and Progress regulars Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) in a tag match at Progress Chapter 95: Still Chasing. Both Riddle and Lee have wrestled for Progress over the years, with Riddle being a two time Atlas Champion.

Opinion: This is one of those cool things that you get with modern wrestling and another case where both sides benefit. WWE isn’t going to hut themselves by helping out a smaller promotion and Progress gets a big boost out of having some big names from NXT on their show. It’s a case that benefits everyone and I could certainly go for something like this in the future.
