That would be different. Titles are often the most important part of any wrestling promotion. They often signify the top stars in a company as they are the wrestlers carrying around the shiny belts. It can mean a lot when something about a title changes hands, and now thanks to one of the biggest changes ever in wrestling, we might be seeing quite a few changes.

According to Better Wrestling Experience by way of Cagesideseats.com, WWE is discussing a “whole new title scheme” following the merger with the UFC. This would include revamps, new names for titles, weight classes, trios titles and potentially more. There is no word on when this might happen. Note that this is NOT confirmed to be taking place and is only being discussed at the moment.
There are some nice titles out there. Check out some of them being introduced:
Opinion: This is one of those situations where I like parts of the idea but I’m not sure about the whole thing. Having a title’s name changed or a new design introduced is one thing, but WWE does not have the best history with weight classes in titles. At the same time, I’m not sure how much sense trios titles would make, as having wrestlers dedicated to the titles is quite the stretch. This is a wait and see situation, but maybe it can work out.
