You never want to see that. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestlers. There is no way of knowing when they are going to happen or how bad they are going to be but they can leave someone on the shelf for a very long time. The worst part is that they can happen at any time and that seems to be the case again at a television taping this week.
According to Wrestlingnews.co, Tony D’Angelo was injured during this Wednesday’s NXT TV taping. D’Angelo was taking part in a match when he was hurt, resulting in the match being stopped. The two accounts differ on what happened to D’Angelo, with one source saying he hit his head in the corner and the other saying he suffered a knee injury. The match was stopped and trainers tended to D’Angelo, though there was no word on how severe the injury was or if D’Angelo was able to leave the ring on his own.
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you never want to see to anyone, let alone someone who is on their way up the ladder like D’Angelo. He has become one of the more prominently presented stars in NXT and hopefully he isn’t out of action for any time at all. It would be nice to see him back in the ring sooner rather than later, as an injury is a terrible thing under any situation.
