WRESTLING RUMORS: Major Update On Status Of Missing WWE Superstar

So kind of? Every so often, a wrestler will be rolling along on WWE TV but then drop off the radar in a hurry. It might be due to the company not seeing something in them or the fans giving up on them, but for whatever reason, they’re just not around anymore. That can lead to some interesting update. Now we know a bit more about someone who did just that in recent months.

Elias has not wrestled a match since the June 15, 2023 Monday Night Raw, when he competed in a battle royal. According to Better Wrestling Experience by way of Cagesideseats.com, Elias does not currently have a “professional contract” but is still with the company. It is not clear what “professional contract” means and it is not clear when or if Elias will return to television.

Opinion: This does at least explain where Elias has been but it doesn’t exactly explain why he has been gone. I’m not sure when he is going to be back, but it does not seem like he will be around anytime soon. At the end of the day, Elias is someone WWE has tried to work with more than once and nothing has ever really clicked. Maybe there is a way to make it work, but that has not been the case for a long time now.
