That could be worse. There are all kinds of injuries a wrestler can have and many of them are not their fault. Occasionally something will go wrong in wrestling and someone can get hurt, though the important matte is how severe things are. That is what took place earlier this week during a match that was taped to air later, but things might not have been as bad as expected.

On Wednesday, AEW taped a match for this week’s Rampage featuring Jeff Hardy facing Sammy Guevara. As previously reported, a mistake took place during the match which saw Guevara’s knee smash into Hardy’s face. According to Wrestling Observer Live, the belief in AEW is that Hardy suffered a broken nose but has not suffered a concussion. There is no word on how long Hardy might be out of action, though he did finish the match.
Hardy is quite the star. Check out what he has done in AEW:
Opinion: As bad as a broken nose may be, there is always the chance that Hardy’s status is worse than believed. That was a scary looking crash when it took place so hopefully everything winds up being ok. Hardy is a tar and one of the bigger names in AEW and probably does not have that much time left in the ring. It would be a shame to see him miss that much due to an injury and it would be great to have him back sooner than later.
What do you think of Hardy’s time in AEW? Is he better on his own or as part of a team? Let us know in the comments below.
