It might be a bit. There are all kinds of ways to write a wrestler off of a television show, as there might be several reasons to get rid of them. Some of them could be a need to give them a rest or perhaps to freshen things up. There is always the chance that the move is part of a storyline and that very well may be the case again, as a wrestling legend appears to be taking a break from television.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Try Again: Former Backstage Executive And Wrestler Making Return To AEW

This week on AEW Dynamite, Nick Wayne interrupted a match between Adam Copeland and Daniel Garcia, where the winner would have earned a TNT Title match against Christian Cage. Following the match, Cage gave Copeland a Conchairto, which likely means the Copeland will be missing time from AEW TV. There is no word on when he is expected to make his return.

It was a nasty situation. Check out the attack, plus Copeland and Cage:

Opinion: This feels like part of a bigger story between Copeland and Cage and that could make things rather interesting. The two have already been in the middle of a feud for a long time now, with Copeland fighting to get another shot at Cage and the TNT Title. Another match seems to be on the horizon, but for now we might be seeing Garcia get the shot instead.
