Welcome back. There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history and at some point, some of them are going to take their leave. At the same time, that does not mean that their careers are over as they will often wrestle on the independent circuit. It can be a bit deal when a previous WWE star wrestles elsewhere and that appears to be the case again.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Another Favorite? New City In The Running To Host WrestleMania 41

Booker T.’s Reality Of Wrestling promotion has announced that former WWE Superstar Maven will be competing in the promotion’s Last Stand Rumble event in Texas City, Texas on March 9. Maven has occasionally wrestled on the independent circuit since returning to the ring in 2021. This will be his first match since July 2023 and only his seventh in nearly eight years.

Maven had a nice run in WWE. Check out some of his time in the ring:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that regularly works for independent shows as you get to see someone you know, which is nice for some nostalgia. Maven might not be the biggest star, but he is someone who can be added to a show, leaving fans wondering who else might show up. That alone will help to sell some tickets and I’m sure the promotion will be more than happy as a result.

What do you think of the announcement? What was the best part of Maven’s career? Let us know in the comments below.
