I don’t think that’s quite the match you were expecting. Wrestling and Hollywood tend to go together fairly well. There are a lot of similarities to the two and it makes for some interesting connections. Sometimes the two worlds cross over and in those cases, things can get very interesting in a hurry. That may be the case with a recent conversation that took place on Twitter.
Over the weekend, Game Changer Wrestling ran another edition of its Bloodsport series, which features mixed martial arts style matches which have to end via submission or knockout. Joey Ryan mentioned on Twitter that he would only compete in such a match if he could face the actor Jean-Claude Van Damme, who starred in the Bloodsport film series. Van Damme responded, saying that he no longer fights and only kills.

Ryan is armed as well. Check out what made him famous:
Opinion: This is one of those things that was little more than a joke and there is nothing wrong with something like that. Van Damme may or may not have known who Ryan was but it was cool to see him respond like this. It isn’t going to lead anywhere but it gave the show some publicity and that’s really all you can ask for from the whole thing, meaning everyone wins.
What do you think of Ryan? Did he make the right call by not going to a major company? Let us know in the comments below.
