Update On The Whereabouts Of A Surprise NXT Callup

Where did she go? NXT is a very unique wrestling promotion as it serves as a cross between something that stands on its own as well as the official developmental system for WWE. That makes for an interesting situation as success in NXT often means that someone is going to be ready to leave. It makes maintained success somewhat different, but now someone who was around is neither in NXT or on the main roster for some reason.

This has been a rather up and down year for NXT, which has seen several wrestlers coming and going from the roster. Some of this was due to Paul Heyman being removed from his position as Executive Director of Monday Night Raw. As a result, you are going to see some names who were ready to be called up get stuck in limbo, and now that seems to be the case for another NXT star.

According to Fightful Select, Santana Garrett was officially called up to the main roster earlier this year but has yet to actually appear. As a result, she has not been seen on either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown, but she has also not been back in NXT. Garrett is currently waiting on something to do from WWE Creative with her most recent NXT TV appearance taking place on July 8. Both Chelsea Greena nd Vanessa Borne are in the same current situation.

Opinion: I’m not sure what is going on with Garrett but she is talented enough to survive on the main roster. It would make sense to put her on either of the shows, but if she isn’t going to be there, why not put her back down in NXT? Any division could use some kind of extra talent and Garrett fits the description. Give her something to do rather than sitting around all day, because it is quite the waste.
