One more time? On October 6, Undertaker and Triple H will face off against each other one more time at Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia. The two of them have a long history together, with their last match taking place at WrestleMania 28 with Shawn Michaels as guest referee. This meant Michaels was guaranteed to get involved in this match as well and he did so Monday night.
When the dead rise.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Michaels appeared as advertised to talk about the upcoming Triple H vs. Undertaker match, but he wasn’t alone. As Michaels was wrapping up his comments, the Undertaker returned and spoke to Michaels, who had predicted that Triple H would win. Michaels talked about staying retired out of respect for Undertaker, with a future match possibly being teased.
Opinion: I can’t imagine they’re going to have Michaels wrestle again but if it’s going to happen, it would be be against Undertaker one more time. WWE has shown that they don’t mind going back on their “for the last time” matches and allowing someone to come out of retirement, but the question becomes can Michaels do it. I don’t know if he’d want to risk losing the aura he’s put together, though it wouldn’t shock me if he did. This was a heck of a segment though, and that makes me want to see the upcoming match in Australia.
What did you think of the segment? Will Michaels wrestle again? Let us know in the comments below.
