All dreams must come to an end. Last week, the B Team finally lost their first match as a team and it was a very sad sight to see. It was clear that the magic was coming to an end as their whole aura was this lucky team who never lost a match. With the first loss out of the way, it was clear that a change was coming. The Revival got a title shot the following week and something did indeed happen.
This week on Monday Night Raw, the B Team lost the Raw Tag Team Titles to Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. The Revival was scheduled to challenge for the titles but were attacked by McIntyre and Ziggler, who were placed into the match instead. This is the second title reign for both men, after Ziggler held the titles as part of the Spirit Squad while McIntyre won his with Cody Rhodes.
Opinion: I mean, it’s not like the B Team was going to be long term champions anyway. I’m fine with the title change as it gives Ziggler and McIntyre a little more credibility, but the key word there is little. The Tag Team Titles haven’t meant anything in a long time and this is only a step above a thrown together or comedy team. Hopefully they add a little something to the belts, though I’d rather see the Revival take them away in the future.
