I’d say he’s earned it. This Sunday will mark thirty years to the day of Undertaker’s first major appearance in WWE, which is one of those milestones that almost no one managed to reach. As a result, WWE is going all out with the tributes to Undertaker and they are all well deserved. Not only will Sunday be Undertaker’s Final Farewell, but WWE has aired several documentaries and matches along the way. They aren’t the only ones who want to say thank you though.
One of the most notable aspects of Undertaker is his look. The details have changed a bit over the years but there is always something there that stands out. Whether it is the fedora or the trench coat, Undertaker is one of the most unique looking wrestlers in history and it shows every time. The look is so iconic that several wrestlers wanted to try their own hand at it, with some nice results.
This is pretty cool. Check out the WWE roster’s tribute to Undertaker’s look:
WWE has released a video of a photo shoot of various wrestlers dressing up as Undertaker over various periods of his career. The shoot includes names such as Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and Liv Morgan among others. The costumes go throughout Undertaker’s career, from the original mortician look through his final matches and also includes the years as a biker.
Opinion: This is one of those things that is really cool when you think about it and then it gets even better when you see it actually being done. Undertaker is one of the most important stars WWE has ever had and it is almost hard to imagine him not being around anymore. It makes these tributes that much better and it is great to see how much praise Undertaker is receiving as he leaves.
