That’s a tribute? With so many wrestlers being involved in the industry over the years, there are very few who actually stand out. You will find some who make an impression in a good or bad way and those are the ones who are the most memorable. They are also the kind who are impersonated more than most, and that is the case again in a rather different way.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Reportedly Makes Major Change To Decades Old Tradition

Kane made his WWE debut in October 1997 as the Undertaker’s brother, wearing red and black in-ring gear and being able to control fire. Now, an independent wrestler is going by the name of Blue Kane and imitates everything the original Kane did in the ring, including his gear, moves and entrance. However, rather than causing fire to come up from the posts, Blue Kane’s entrance causes snow to fall from the ceiling, all while a cover of the song “Blue” by Eiffel 65 plays. A fan asked if Blue Kane shared the thoughts as the original Kane, with Blue Kane asking not to be compared to the original.

This is different. Check out the Blue and red versions:

Opinion: Well that’s certainly….can you say different here? It’s the definition of a tribute with a twist, though asking people not to compare the two, no matter what Kane has said before, is more than a little much. If nothing else, it makes for quite the talking point, even if it might not have the longest staying power as it is a bit of a limited joke compared to the original version.
