WATCH: Former Champions Make Surprise Return During Wild SmackDown Match

They’re back. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and more come in on a fairly regular basis. As a result, it can be easy or some wrestlers to fall through the cracks as you do not know when you are going to see someone slip away for a bit. That was the case earlier this year, but now a pair have made a surprise return and seem to be in a different role.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Creepy Vignette Hints At Group Returning To SmackDown With New Partners

This week’s SmackDown featured an eight woman tag match involving Damage CTRL vs. Michin/Zelina Vega/Shotzi/Bianca Belair. During the match, Damage CTRL went to open some Christmas presents but found the returning Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn inside. The two attacked Damage CTRL, leading to the team losing the match. Fyre and Dawn have not wrestled on television since June, though they have appeared in occasional vignettes and wrestled in dark matches.

It’s a nice return. Check out the match, plus the two in action:

Opinion: This is something that we’ve been waiting on for a big now and I’m not sure why. WWE’s women’s tag division doesn’t exactly have the most depth so why not have a regular team on television? Fyre and Dawn did well in NXT but have never really gotten much of a chance on the main roster. Let them be added to the show and see what they can do, as it could go rather nicely all things considered.
