WATCH: Booker T. Hints At Backstage Incident With CM Punk At This Week’s NXT

Uh oh. There are certain wrestlers who have quite the backstage reputation and it is not the most positive. For one reason or another, some wrestlers have quite the bit of trouble making things work when the cameras are off. You will often hear stories about issues that keep coming up and now we might be hearing about a rather familiar name being involved with something similar again.

During a recent edition of his Hall Of Fame podcast, NXT broadcaster Booker T. said that he “almost had a little run-in” with CM Punk at NXT. There were no other details given on the situation, with Booker T. saying something almost happened. Punk was reportedly backstage at this week’s NXT, though he has not commented on any such situation. It is not clear what happened or if either will be disciplined by WWE.

Opinion: This is one of those situations where the details are what matter the most. Maybe this is just Booker T. messing with things or maybe it is something that really happened as he was suggesting. At the same time though, it doesn’t seem that anything physical happened and that makes quite the difference. Hopefully this is nothing serious but we’ll have to wait and see what happened.
