Well of course he did. There are a lot of things that can be said about Vince McMahon and one of them is that he might be completely insane. McMahon has been known to do all kinds of things that might not be the most logical but he is also known to never ask someone to do something that he won’t do. Even at 74 years old, that was the case again this year.
One of the major draws to this year’s WrestleMania was the inclusion of Rob Gronkowski. The Super Bowl winning tight end signed with WWE and served as the host of WrestleMania 36, though there were a few other things that he did over the two nights as well. Gronkowski won the 24/7 Title during the second night of the show, and it turns out McMahon gave him a big pointer.
According to Fightful.com, McMahon demonstrated the dive off of a tower that Gronkowski used to win the 24/7 Title. Gronkowski was nervous about the dive so mcMahon demonstrated it, which eventually convinced Gronkowski to do it. This was the dive that Becky Lynch referenced in a recent TV Insider interview where she saw McMahon dive off of a tower.
He’s a good teacher. Check out the finished product:
Opinion: Can we just officially declare McMahon insane? This is the kind of thing that middle aged people would have issues doing and McMahon is out there doing it when he’s almost seventy five years old. That isn’t the kind of thing that anyone is going to do and yet here he is acting like it’s no big deal. I can’t imagine how nervous a lot of people were as they watched him do it and thankfully everything wound up being ok.
How insane is McMahon? How much longer can he keep this up? Let us know in the comments below.
