It’s a new way of doing things. Wrestlers are a weird form of television stars as almost no one in television is live every single week. It makes for a different way of doing things and it is made even more complicated when the look is such an important part of any wrestler’s persona. If you don’t look right then your career could be in trouble, but one person might have made a move in the right direction.

Back in January at the Royal Rumble, Edge made a shocking return to the ring for the first time in nearly nine years. After a very long layoff due to a neck injury, Edge was back and even got to have a big time match at WrestleMania 36. While he might not be back full time, he was back in some form and that was a good thing for the fans. Now, we might be seeing Edge turn back the clock again.

Edge took part in a new video for Nutrition Solutions, showing a clean shaven face. This comes after Edge returned to the ring with a full beard for the first time in several years. Edge has not wrestled or appeared since WrestleMania 36, though he is scheduled to appear on this week’s Monday Night Raw, where he will rekindle his feud with Randy Orton. There is no word on when Edge will wrestle again.

It’s a different way to go. Check out Edge’s new look:

Opinion: That’s a different way to go for Edge and it’s probably the best thing he could do. The slightly gray beard didn’t help the fact that he is 46 years old and started wrestling about twenty five years ago. I’m not sure how much good it is going to do him in the long run, but at least it helps him turn back the clock a little bit. Just get him back on TV to set up his big match though and we can see how much it really does help.
