It goes hand in hand. Wrestling and video games are two things that seem to go together rather well. Fans are going to want to see their favorite wrestlers in matches that they can control and with the games having gotten so advanced, it makes sense for the two worlds to meet. That has been the case with WWE games for a long time, but now they are lending their stars to someone else.

Wrestlers are larger than life figures and always will be. There is something about them that makes them seem incredibly interesting and that appeals to the fans. Some of the biggest names in the history of wrestling have been characters with the volume turned incredibly high, which is what makes them so fascinating. What better place to put them than in a world with other larger than life personalities?

The King of Fighters All Star Twitter account has announced that six WWE names will be available for play in a new update on May 14. The six names include Kofi Kingston, Becky Lynch, the Undertaker, Seth Rollins, John Cena and the Rock. King of Fighters is a video game series that began in 1994 and is available on Android and iOS. The game was released in English in October 2019.

This does look cool. Check out the new characters:

Opinion: I’ve never understood why WWE wrestlers aren’t in more fighting games. Wouldn’t it make sense to have one in Super Smash Brothers or Mortal Kombat or something similar? It kind of fits perfectly and yet it isn’t something you see every day. There have been wrestling games that are just like fighting games, so why not go the other way with it?
