Welcome home. One of the biggest stories from outside of the ring over the last few months has been the issue between Corey Graves and Mauro Ranallo. During NXT’s Takeover: WarGames event in November, Graves tweeted out some messages about Ranallo, insulting the amount of time that he spends dominating the conversation. This did not sit well with Ranallo, who missed Survivor Series and the following NXT as a result. It turns out that the fans missed him.
Can you blame them for loving the guy? Check out some of his most memorable calls:
Ranallo made his return to NXT on Wednesday night to appear on the live broadcast. There was no major mention made of his absence from the previous two shows. The official reason given for his absence was that he had blown his voice out at Takeover: WarGames. Ranallo came to the ring with his usual entrance of running from the stage to the broadcast booth and the fans gave him a standing ovation, complete with a MAMA MIA chant.
It was a heck of a moment. Check out Ranallo’s return and warm reception:
Opinion: I know Ranallo can be a lot at times and yeah he’s gotten on my nerves at times too. That being said, the man has more enthusiasm and charisma for his work than almost anyone else and he can be a joy to listen to. I’m glad that he’s back as having him leave over his colleague saying something cruel about him on Twitter would be a bit much. Thankfully he is back though and that is the best news possible.
What do you think of Ranallo? Should Graves be punished? Let us know in the comments below.
