Memories of Wrestlemania gone by. House shows are an interesting thing as you often see things you would never get to see on regular TV. That makes them feel all the more special and when these shows are in places that rarely get live wrestling. Therefore, what happened earlier tonight is all the more interesting.
WWE has released a clip of a major house show match from a show in Abu Dhabi. Earlier on Friday, Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns successfully defended the title against Triple H. After the match, Samoa Joe and the Bar came in to beat on Reigns but Triple H and the rest of the Shield made the save. This led to a cool moment to end the show, which you can see below.
Roman Reigns earns Triple H's respect
Opinion: This is the kind of moment you only get at a house show and that’s what makes it cool. Instead of something repetitive that you’ll likely see on any given TV show, this felt like a treat. As bad as it was, this is still a Wrestlemania main event rematch and that’s not something you get to see every day. As far as I can tell, this is only their second singles match ever and the post match stuff makes it feel special. Cool idea here, despite the previous match’s reputation.
Would you like to see this match again? How does it work as a big house show main event? Let us know in the comments below.
