Everybody needs a job. Over the years, jobbers have sort of lost their importance in wrestling. Long gone are the days of the Brooklyn Brawler, Barry Horowitz and Reno Riggins losing to every single person they could fine. There are however still a few one off appearances, often times from people who are fighting for the honor of their hometown. That sounds like a good list.

WWE has released a new Top Ten video, showcasing various local competitors competing against the bigger stars in their hometowns. This includes a few names you might know and almost no one who had a chance of winning their match. It made for some memorable destructions though. Here’s the video:

Memorable local competitors: WWE Top 10, Feb. 12, 2018

Opinion: Some of these are a bit random and I’m not sure why the #1 choice earned the top spot. This is something just to have fun with though as there have been hundreds of wrestlers like any of these entries. Let them do whatever they can out there and make the stars look good. That’s their job and some of them can do it better than others.
